Organizational Context

Job Purpose

This role supports the design and development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) learning programs and curricula in Electronics. The incumbent will facilitate the delivery of these programs, employing adult learning strategies and integrating Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills. A key aspect involves designing and conducting formative and summative assessments to evaluate trainee competency. The position also requires building linkages with employers and utilizing labor market information to identify and address skills gaps. Furthermore, the role contributes to TVET greening and digitalization initiatives, developing and facilitating both synchronous and asynchronous training sessions, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include supporting the design and development of TVET learning programs and curricula, including competency analyses and drafting learning materials. The role involves facilitating program delivery, preparing training venues, managing learning in various settings, and employing inclusive adult learning strategies, integrating OSH and core skills. Designing and conducting formative and summative assessments, both knowledge and practice-based, is essential. Building linkages with employers and utilizing labor market information to inform training courses and identify skills gaps are also crucial. The incumbent will apply quality assurance processes, support TVET greening and digitalization initiatives, and collaborate with staff to coordinate teaching, maintain discipline, and implement OSH measures.
