Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include preparing and facilitating French language and communication skills courses at all levels, employing in-person, online, or hybrid teaching methods. Teachers must assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and manage course administration within Learning Management Systems, including maintaining attendance and grading records. A significant duty involves developing new French language courses and learning materials, incorporating innovative instructional technology. Additionally, responsibilities include designing French language learning assessments and constructing and grading proficiency exams according to specific guidelines. Teachers may also participate in language projects, such as updating or developing course content and materials, and are expected to report on project progress and integrate feedback to ensure quality deliverables and timely completion.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of experience teaching French as a foreign or second language to adults in a multicultural setting is required. This includes at least three years of recent experience in curriculum development, language examination design, or language teacher training. Experience with e-learning tools, learning management systems, and online collaboration tools for language teaching is desirable, as is experience in an international, multicultural environment.
