The PSEAH Unit, within the Office of Ethics and PSEAH (OEP), spearheads IOM's efforts to combat PSEAH.

Job Purpose

This role contributes to IOM's commitment to combating sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) across its operations. The Consultant will provide strategic advice and technical guidance to regional leadership and country offices on PSEAH matters, focusing on victim assistance, risk mitigation, and capacity building. The purpose is to strengthen IOM's organizational culture, institutional accountability, and operational effectiveness in preventing and responding to PSEAH, ensuring a victim-centred approach and promoting best practices. This involves coordinating with global units, inter-agency partners, and country-level stakeholders to enhance PSEAH mechanisms and integrate PSEAH principles into IOM's programming and reporting.

Support country offices in establishing mechanisms for survivor assistance and conducting risk assessments to mitigate PSEAH gaps. Build the capacity of regional PSEAH Officers and Focal Points in responding to disclosures and integrating PSEAH into project proposals. Promote best practices, document lessons learned, and represent IOM in inter-agency PSEAH fora.

Work Experience

Experience in managing PSEAH cases, coordinating within the UN system, developing PSEAH trainings, conducting risk assessments, and mainstreaming PSEAH principles into proposals and operations is essential.

Skills
