IOM fosters an inclusive workplace and offers internships to talented students and graduates interested in migration-related fields.

Job Purpose

Key learning objectives include gaining practical exposure to IOM Albania's migration-related activities, developing research, analytical, and drafting skills by supporting legal and policy research, and assisting in the preparation of various written materials. The intern will also support administrative, coordination, and documentation tasks for meetings and programme activities. Furthermore, the role focuses on strengthening professional competencies in teamwork, communication, accountability, confidentiality, and ethical conduct, adhering to IOM standards. The internship includes on-the-job learning, guidance, participation in internal meetings, and completion of mandatory training.

Work Experience

Previous internship, volunteering, academic, or civic engagement experience in migration, human rights, youth engagement, legal research, public administration, or civil society is desirable.
