ICAO Roster-Fuel System Expert
Organizational Context
Under the direction of the Director of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI), the Field Operations Section (FOS) develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and closes Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The Field Personnel Section (FPS/FRU) recruits international experts for these projects and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.
Job Purpose
To provide expert advice and review of aircraft fueling service facilities and equipment designs and specifications. The role ensures conformance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and provides recommendations for improvements.
Responsibilities
Review designs and specifications for aircraft fueling facilities and equipment. Provide on-site advice to government project management. Review design basis reports. Prepare end-of-assignment reports detailing conformance with SARPs and recommending corrective actions. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Ten years of experience in aircraft fuel storage and hydrant fueling systems, including planning, design, installation, and operation. Experience in developing related manuals, procedures, or checklists at a major international airport, or experience as a safety inspector in a State civil aviation regulatory authority.
