ICAO Roster-Airline Management and Organization Expert

Organizational Context

Under the direction of the Director of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI), the Field Operations Section (FOS) develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and closes Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The Field Personnel Section (FPS/FRU) recruits international experts for Capacity Development and Implementation projects and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.

Job Purpose

To provide expert consultancy services for reviewing airline management and operations, developing recommendations for improvement, and detailing findings in a final report.

Responsibilities

Review current airline management and operations policies. Develop recommendations on fares, route structure, aircraft selection, investment strategies, corporate structure, and joint ventures. Detail findings and recommendations in a final report. Perform other related duties.

Work Experience

Detailed knowledge of international airline management and operations. Experience in airline flight scheduling, fleet planning, and utilization. Knowledge of aircraft types, performance capabilities, and personnel/facility requirements. Familiarity with aircraft leasing contracts.
