ICAO Roster-Procurement Expert
Organizational Context
Under the direction of the Director of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI), the Field Operations Section (FOS) develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and closes Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The Field Personnel Section (FPS/FRU) recruits international experts for these projects and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.
Job Purpose
To plan, develop, and manage all procurement and contractual aspects of projects. This includes managing bid processes, resolving complex procurement issues, and overseeing contract adherence.
Responsibilities
Manage procurement and contracts for projects, prepare and distribute tenders, evaluate bids, resolve procurement issues, establish work programs for contracts, identify and evaluate supply sources, ensure adherence to contracts, and prepare procurement-related documents.
Work Experience
Minimum of five years of experience in procurement, contract management, contract administration, logistics and supply chain management, or administration in the public or private sector. Requires knowledge of international procurement standards, contract law, and quantitative methods for supplier evaluation.
