Organizational Context

Under the direction of the Director of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI), the Field Operations Section (FOS) develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and closes Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The Field Personnel Section (FPS/FRU) recruits international experts for Capacity Development and Implementation projects in Civil Aviation and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.

Job Purpose

To serve as a Cabin Safety Expert for the ICAO Roster, developing and delivering training programs for cabin crew and related personnel. The role focuses on ensuring training content is accurate, current, and meets regulatory standards and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Conduct Training Needs Analysis, design and implement training programs for cabin crew and flight deck, ensure quality assurance of training content against regulatory standards, deliver training courses, and maintain professional development in cabin safety and the airline industry.

Work Experience

Essential: Significant aviation experience as cabin crew and supervisor in an airline, significant experience in recent developments related to cabin safety, and significant experience in training cabin crew.
