ICAO Roster-Airline Operations Expert
Organizational Context
Under the direction of the Director of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI), the Field Operations Section (FOS) develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and closes Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The Field Personnel Section (FPS/FRU) recruits international experts for these projects and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.
Job Purpose
To review airline management and operations, develop recommendations for improvement, and detail findings in a final report. The role aims to enhance airline development along internationally recognized commercial practices.
Responsibilities
Review current airline management and operations policies and practices for domestic and international operations. Develop recommendations on fares, rates, route structure, aircraft selection, investment strategies, corporate structure, and joint ventures. Detail findings and recommendations in a final report. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Experience
Essential: Detailed knowledge of international airline management and operations. Experience in airline flight scheduling, fleet planning, composition, and effective use. Good knowledge of aircraft types, performance capabilities, and their personnel/facility requirements. Familiarity with aircraft leasing contracts.
