ICAO Roster-Airline Fleet Planning Expert
Organizational Context
Under the direction of the Director of the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI), the Field Operations Section (FOS) develops, implements, monitors, evaluates, and closes Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. The Field Personnel Section (FPS/FRU) recruits international experts for these projects and manages the ICAO Roster of Experts.
Job Purpose
To provide expert consultancy services for airline fleet planning, reviewing current operations, developing recommendations for strategic development, and detailing findings in a final report.
Responsibilities
Review airline management and operations policies. Develop recommendations on fares, route structure, aircraft selection, investment strategies, corporate structure, and joint ventures. Detail findings and recommendations in a final report. Perform other related duties.
Work Experience
Detailed knowledge of international airline management and operations. Experience in airline flight scheduling, fleet planning, composition, and utilization. Good knowledge of aircraft types, performance capabilities, and facility/service requirements. Familiarity with aircraft leasing contracts.
