WFP is undergoing a strategic digital transformation to modernize its corporate digital solutions. The Technology Division (TEC) is central to this initiative, aiming to create a coherent, interoperable, and enterprise-grade digital ecosystem.

Job Purpose

The Integration Services Lead will spearhead WFP's digital transformation by defining and governing the strategy, standards, and methodologies for integrating its diverse digital solutions. This senior role involves leading the Integration Services Team, ensuring seamless interoperability across API, custom, and AI integrations. The incumbent will shape the vision for WFP's Enterprise Integration Hub, promote cloud-native approaches, and foster a collaborative environment for developers and architects. Key responsibilities include establishing integration design principles, overseeing cloud hosting, ensuring security and observability, and championing developer experience through comprehensive documentation and training, ultimately enabling autonomous consumption of WFP's digital core and maximizing the value of its IT investments.

Responsibilities

The Integration Services Lead will spearhead the World Food Programme's (WFP) digital transformation by modernizing and integrating its corporate digital solutions. This senior advisory role involves defining the strategic vision, standards, and methodologies for the organization's integration landscape, encompassing API, custom, and AI integrations. The lead will govern the Enterprise Integration Hub, ensuring a coherent, interoperable, and enterprise-grade ecosystem aligned with architectural principles and the digital roadmap. Key responsibilities include establishing integration design principles, patterns, and standards, and providing guidance on Service Oriented Architecture and microservices. The role also requires collaborating on the design of the API ecosystem, promoting cloud-native approaches, and optimizing integration components for cost, resiliency, and scalability. Furthermore, the Integration Services Lead will work with IT Security to ensure robust security and observability of integration points, championing the API-first principle and supporting developer communities through documentation, training, and guidance. This position demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in integration architecture, API management, and cloud environments, capable of influencing multidisciplinary teams and driving initiatives autonomously.

Work Experience

Requires a minimum of 10 years of international professional experience in enterprise IT, with a strong emphasis on integration architecture, API management, and digital platform governance. Additionally, at least 5 years of experience in a coordination or leadership role overseeing multidisciplinary technical teams is necessary.
