Job Purpose
The Senior Emergency Preparedness and Response Associate will provide specialized technical support and analysis for food assistance policies and programs, with a strong focus on emergency programming. This role involves assisting in the development and implementation of emergency interventions, ensuring alignment with WFP's broader programmatic guidelines. Key responsibilities include project management support, preparing and analyzing data reports on food assistance needs and program performance, and ensuring accurate data registration. The Associate will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including local organizations and government institutions, to facilitate effective collaboration and efficient delivery of aid. A crucial aspect of the role is supporting capacity building for WFP staff and partners, and applying standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure rapid response to crises.
