The People and Culture Centre within SD drives strategic HR management.

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Officer will provide strategic and operational People and Culture support to UNICEF Supply Division's Centers. This role involves researching policies, analyzing HR data, advising on HR matters, and developing action plans aligned with organizational goals. The officer will ensure timely, client-focused guidance on HR processes, promote equitable practices, and contribute to the improvement of HR systems and policies. They will support the delivery of key HR services such as recruitment, operations, staff support, and performance management, enhancing workforce effectiveness. Additionally, the role requires collaboration across units, support for capacity-building initiatives, and the collection and analysis of HR data to inform decision-making and improve reporting processes. The officer will also manage and support team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering: Provide strategic and operational People and Culture support to Centers by researching policies, analyzing data, advising on HR matters, and helping develop action plans aligned with organizational goals. Ensure timely, client-focused guidance on HR processes and issue resolution while promoting equitable practices, gender equity, and cultural diversity. 2. Strategic Human Resources: Contribute to the improvement of People and Culture systems, policies, and processes by providing feedback and practical recommendations. Stay informed on emerging HR best practices, benchmark innovative approaches, and support the development of global policies through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives. 3. Support to Implementation of assigned P&C Services: Support the delivery of People and Culture services such as recruitment, HR operations, staff support, and performance management to enhance workforce effectiveness. Analyze HR cases, interpret policies, and recommend appropriate solutions or actions. 4. Cross-Unit/Centre Collaboration and Project Management Support: Support capacity-building initiatives and collaborate across People and Culture units to provide data and support tailored HR solutions. 5. HR Data Analytics: Collect and analyze HR data to support decision-making, monitor key HR metrics, and assist in improving data systems and reporting processes. 6. Team Management: Manage and support team members to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of People and Culture services.

Work Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources Management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required.
