The newly established Rome Common Services Center (CSC) will provide critical operational support to UNICEF Divisions in Rome and coordinate services with WFP HQ, enhancing efficiency and collaboration.
Job Purpose
The Digital Impact Associate will ensure that UNICEF staff in Rome have appropriate access to the right resources at the right time, thereby securing organizational data, maintaining regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. This role is crucial for UNICEF Rome’s cybersecurity posture, acting as a gatekeeper for digital identities. By effectively managing user access, devices, and support services, the incumbent will contribute to a secure and seamless digital experience, enabling collaboration, productivity, and the delivery of results for children worldwide. The position supports the ICT Officer in managing customer services and ensuring the integrity of digital operations within the Rome CSC.
Responsibilities
The Digital Impact Associate will be responsible for User Access and Device Lifecycle Management, including creating, managing, and disabling user accounts and device access throughout onboarding, relocation, and off-boarding processes, as well as supporting user workspace settings. They will enforce Policy and best practice by defining, implementing, and enforcing access policies and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure consistency and security, and perform regular maintenance and updates on ICT equipment. The role involves Authentication Management, implementing and managing secure authentication methods like multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO). Furthermore, the incumbent will conduct Monitoring and Auditing of user and device activity for security incidents, perform regular access reviews, generate compliance reports, and support ICT Asset inventory tracking. Finally, they will handle Incident Response and Troubleshooting for identity-related security incidents and access issues, manage service calls, and escalate issues as needed to minimize business disruption.
Work Experience
At least 6 years of professional experience in IT Support or IT Customer Service within an enterprise system environment is required. Experience assisting users with IT/Business products, services, applications, and diagnostic tools is necessary. Proficiency with ID management systems like Microsoft Entra and Admin tools, including PowerShell, is also required.
