Job Purpose
The Procurement Officer, under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, will support the technical implementation of the GPGD project by focusing on the structured review, mapping, drafting, and coordination of Supply Procedures and Guidance Documents. This operational and technical role is crucial for ensuring that regulatory content is systematically reviewed, mapped, and consolidated into lifecycle clusters. The incumbent will be responsible for capturing, tracking, and validating all changes through controlled project tools, and developing draft content in line with the three-layer architecture. Effective coordination of stakeholder inputs within tight project timelines is essential to deliver a coherent, traceable, and operationally aligned Supply Regulatory Framework, including supporting associated training documentation and access platforms.
Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the technical review, mapping, and analysis of regulatory content, ensuring systematic consolidation into lifecycle clusters. They will manage change registration, traceability, and document control using controlled project tools. A key function is the drafting and development of procedural and guidance content aligned with the three-layer architecture. The role involves project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and managing review cycles effectively. Support for project implementation and controls, including facilitating communication and knowledge delivery, is also required. The incumbent will assist with platform and digital integration initiatives as applicable. They will ensure compliance with Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP), ISO, and other relevant international regulations and standards, integrating Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements into work processes. Additional duties as assigned will also be part of the role.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Supply Management, Contracting/Logistics, Procurement, Policy, Process Support, or any other related fields.
Skills
Strong analytical skills, Document review and structuring, Managing large volumes of documentation, Attention to detail and traceability, Strong drafting and written communication skills, Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (MS Lists, MS Project, OneNote, Visio), Understanding of procurement processes and regulatory frameworks, Ability to support structured workflows and project methodologies, Systems competent (preferably SAP knowledge), Proficient in Microsoft Office package, Ability to establish harmonious work relationships, International and multicultural environment adaptability
