Responsibilities
The Programme Officer (Budget) is responsible for contribution management, including budget planning, allocation, and monitoring. They provide technical assistance and guidance to management and programme sections. The role involves reporting and ensuring inter-agency financial transparency, including contributions to the Joint Response Plan (JRP) and reporting to the Rohingya Coordination Platform (RCP). The incumbent supports partnerships in financial reporting, donor financial reporting, and funding gap analysis, ensuring compliance with IPSAS, UNICEF Financial Regulations, and organizational policies. Responsibilities also include supporting cost distribution and payroll calculations and planning. Furthermore, the role involves designing and implementing capacity-building initiatives to strengthen budget management practices across programme sections, contributing to the optimization of programme delivery and results for children.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience in budget management, financial analysis, or a related field is required. Experience in a humanitarian or development context is an asset.
