Job Purpose
The People and Culture Officer will support the development and analysis of people surveys, providing quantitative and qualitative analysis. This role offers strategic and technical advisory support to users and People and Culture practitioners on survey development, analysis, and interpretation of findings. The incumbent will contribute to workforce analytics for organizational design and planning, developing recommendations based on findings to support workforce planning, talent management, and employee experience initiatives. The position aims to enhance evidence-based decision-making within HR and across the organization by leveraging data and insights from employee feedback and workforce trends.
Responsibilities
The People and Culture Officer will partner with the Digital Impact Division to enhance HR data quality and consistency for reliable workforce analytics and reporting. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining HR dashboards for workforce composition, KPIs, and diversity metrics. The role involves providing timely HR data analytics and reporting support, conducting workforce trend analysis to identify patterns in headcount, attrition, mobility, and diversity, and producing executive-level workforce insights for strategic decision-making. Ensuring clarity and usability of workforce metrics and documenting Standard Operating Procedures for data processing are key. The officer will support employee listening initiatives like the Global Staff Survey, analyzing feedback to identify themes and areas for improvement, and translating insights into actionable findings. Providing analytical support throughout the employee listening cycle, contributing to knowledge products, and offering technical guidance on qualitative research and survey design best practices are also crucial. The role will monitor emerging trends in research and survey science to improve UNICEF’s approach and suggest embedding people insights into business processes.
Work Experience
Two years of professional experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative studies/research at the international level. Professional experience in HR/People and Culture management is required.
