Job Purpose
The People and Culture Officer will support the implementation of Human Resources services within the UNICEF Jamaica office. This role involves partnering with various stakeholders, assisting in organization design and job classification, and contributing to HR data analytics. Responsibilities
The People and Culture Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Human Resources function. This includes acting as a business partner to various departments, ensuring the smooth implementation of assigned HR services, and offering dedicated staff support. A key responsibility will be assisting in organization design and job classification processes to ensure alignment with organizational needs and standards. The role also involves contributing to HR data analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR strategies. The officer will manage recruitment campaigns, particularly for specialized roles, and ensure efficient and timely hiring processes. Additionally, they will coordinate with diverse stakeholders across multiple locations, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills to achieve team results in a fast-paced environment. The ability to communicate with empathy and manage sensitive situations will be crucial for success in this role.
Work Experience
At least two years of relevant work experience in human resource management within an international organization or large corporation is required. Experience managing large recruitment campaigns and international professional P&C experience at various organizational levels is highly valued.
