Job Purpose
The Administrative Officer (P-2) is accountable for delivering efficient and cost-effective administrative support services for Education Cannot Wait (ECW), a UNICEF-hosted fund. The incumbent will oversee various administrative functions including policy implementation, budget management, property management, contract arrangements, and staff development. Responsibilities
As the focal point for administrative management services, the incumbent is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective delivery of administrative support. This includes providing guidance for the operations of administrative support services and managing administrative staff. The role ensures that the office’s administrative operations and services are in compliance with the organization's administrative policy, procedures, rules, and regulations. Key areas of responsibility include policy implementation, budget management, provision of administrative support and services, property management, and contract arrangement and control. Additionally, the incumbent will contribute to staff learning and development initiatives and foster partnership, coordination, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders. The role also encompasses managing travel and conference coordination, procurement and vendor management, office operations, budget tracking, and contract administration, particularly within development, fragile, and humanitarian contexts.
Work Experience
Two years of relevant professional work experience, including both national and international experience in office management, administration, finance, accounting, ICT, human resources, supply, or any other relevant function.
