Job Purpose
The purpose of the incumbent role is to carry out broad ICT functions and enable the provision of ICT solutions and services, assisting in the delivery of results in a small-sized office. This involves ensuring the continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and accessibility to ICT services and solutions, supporting operational and administrative tasks, and contributing to the overall delivery of results. The role also encompasses responsibilities related to cybersecurity and the general protection of digital assets, ensuring the integrity and security of UNICEF's digital environment in a challenging operational context.
Responsibilities
The Digital Impact Officer will be responsible for enabling the continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and ensuring accessibility to ICT services and solutions. This includes supporting operational and administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth functioning of the office and assisting in the delivery of results aligned with UNICEF's objectives. A key aspect of the role involves managing cybersecurity and the general protection of digital assets, safeguarding UNICEF's information and systems. The officer will also contribute to the implementation of ICT strategies and policies, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and service level agreements. This position requires proactive engagement in troubleshooting and resolving ICT-related issues, providing technical support to staff, and contributing to the development and maintenance of ICT systems. The role demands adaptability to evolving technological landscapes and operational challenges within the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience in information technology management and business operations within a large international organization and/or corporation is required.
