ASSOCIATE MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAMME ANALYST (TJO)
Organizational Context
This position is based in the Enterprise Resource Planning Management Section (ERPMS) within the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Regional Hub for Central and West Africa in Yaoundé. The Associate Management and Programme Analyst reports to the Regional Director, with substantive oversight from the Chief of ERPMS in Geneva.
Job Purpose
The Associate Management and Programme Analyst supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes and projects, focusing on the deployment and utilization of the Umoja ERP system in field offices. This role involves monitoring programme implementation, identifying issues, and proposing solutions. The analyst will also develop and implement communication strategies to support field offices with Umoja ERP and related initiatives, utilizing analytical tools and data to refine these strategies. Additionally, the position contributes to quality assurance reviews of administrative services, strategic analysis of programme performance, and supports consulting assignments by facilitating workshops and developing action plans for change management. The role also involves research, policy development support, survey initiatives, and preparing various written outputs and presentations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes and projects, with a focus on Umoja ERP deployment and utilization in field offices. This involves monitoring and analyzing programme progress, identifying issues, and proposing corrective actions. The role supports the creation and execution of communication strategies for Umoja ERP and related initiatives, leveraging analytical tools and data to enhance effectiveness. The analyst will conduct quality assurance reviews of administrative services, including Umoja roles and workflows, and draft reports. Strategic analysis of programme performance and support for consulting assignments, including process mapping and workshop facilitation, are also key duties. The position involves researching and presenting information, assisting in policy development, managing survey initiatives, preparing written outputs, supporting meetings and conferences, conducting outreach and training, participating in missions, and coordinating budget and funding activities.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of progressive experience in project/programme management, communications, administration, business process management, or ERP is required. Experience supporting SAP-based ERP systems (implementation, rollout, utilization) is essential. Desirable experience includes delivering ERP-related training, resolving operational issues, utilizing data analytics tools, and supporting ERP governance activities.
