Human Resources Officer (HR Systems And Analytics)
Organizational Context
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a UN-related organization established in 1951, promotes humane and orderly migration. This role is within the HR Systems & Analytics function, reporting to the Human Resources Officer. It collaborates with various IOM departments and offices globally, focusing on the effective use and enhancement of IOM’s Oracle ERP system, specifically the Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.
Job Purpose
This position serves as a functional subject-matter resource for IOM’s Oracle HCM modules, contributing to the effective utilization and continuous improvement of the organization's Oracle ERP system. The role supports the review and analysis of new HCM functionalities for their applicability within IOM, assesses current system usage, and identifies opportunities for enhancements. By contributing to ERP-related initiatives, the Human Resources Officer (HR Systems and Analytics) aims to improve efficiency, ensure data consistency, and enhance operational effectiveness across the entire organization. This involves close coordination with Headquarters, Global Shared Services Centre, Regional Offices, and Country Offices to drive these improvements.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting the collection and consolidation of HR business functional requirements to identify inefficiencies and propose standardization opportunities. The role acts as a focal point for HR system enhancements, participating in design discussions and tracking progress. It also involves supporting HR system updates, contributing to change management, and assisting in the development of SOPs and process documentation. The position will participate in the analysis and validation of HR data quality and service delivery, ensuring adherence to policies and controls. Furthermore, it contributes to knowledge management initiatives, including training development and assessment, and supports the design and testing of AI-enabled solutions for HR processes. Coordination with internal stakeholders on HR operational and system-related matters is crucial for timely issue resolution.
Work Experience
Required experience includes ERP management, troubleshooting, and aligning software functionalities with HR policies. Knowledge of systems analysis, design techniques, testing, and documentation standards is essential. Experience in HR operations, particularly data management, quality control, and assurance, is necessary. Experience in Human Resources Management within an international organization or multi-cultural setting is advantageous. Experience as a business representative supporting the development of AI-enabled solutions is also beneficial.
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. The ability to analyze policies and processes to establish system configuration requirements is essential. Proficiency in using AI Agents such as CoPilot is necessary. Experience in AI agentic development is considered a bonus.
