Partnership Analyst, Resource Mobilization - Call for Interest (Temporary Professional Officer)

Organizational Context

IFAD is an international financial institution and a specialized UN agency dedicated to eradicating rural poverty and hunger by investing in rural people. The External Relations Department (ERD) leads IFAD's external engagement, including partnership building and resource mobilization. The Global Engagement Partnership and Resource Mobilization Division (GPR) focuses on global policy engagement, partnerships, and driving resource mobilization efforts.

Job Purpose

To deepen corporate level collaboration with key stakeholders, providing an interface for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence. The role supports the design and implementation of strategies for global engagement, partnership development, and resource mobilization.

Responsibilities

Analyze new potential partnership and resource mobilization opportunities; manage and expand the database of key contacts and donor base; support outreach, engagement, policy influence, and collaboration initiatives; contribute to the effective planning, implementation, and follow-up of IFAD's replenishment processes and dialogue with member states.

Work Experience

At least two (2) years of progressively relevant experience is required. Experience in a multi-cultural organization providing analytical support is highly desirable.

Ability to leverage IFAD knowledge for constructive dialogue; formulate new approaches for building relationships with partners; strong stakeholder management and consultation skills; basic ICT and digital fluency; client orientation; effective listening, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
