Organizational Context

The Field Personnel Section (FPS) in the Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI) manages recruitment and employment contracts for international and national experts for Capacity Development and Implementation Programmes. FPS has two units: Field Personnel Administration Unit (FPA) and Field Recruitment Unit (FRU). The Associate Field Recruitment Officer reports to the Field Recruitment Officer and supports FRU activities.

Job Purpose

To provide technical and administrative support in recruitment processes, including maintaining the recruitment roster, developing job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, and monitoring workflow to achieve the unit's objectives.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the recruitment roster, support the development and updating of job descriptions, shortlist candidates for recruitment, monitor workflow in the e-recruiter, and implement recruitment processes.
