Responsibilities
The Director leads the SGIS office, overseeing its staff, work program, resources, and assets to ensure efficient and effective delivery of results aligned with the Department of Safeguards' strategic goals. This involves providing strategic direction for the design, development, maintenance, and operation of ICT systems, with a focus on information integration, quality, and security. The Director establishes office policies and procedures, develops enterprise architecture, and promotes alignment between business strategies and ICT initiatives. As a senior management team member, the Director contributes to safeguards policy formulation, strategic planning, and innovative approaches. Responsibilities also include managing staff and financial resources, fostering knowledge growth, and promoting compliance with quality management systems and industry best practices.
Work Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive professional experience is required, with at least 10 years in ICT management or business/industry with significant IT contributions, focusing on security, compliance, adaptability, risk, and quality management. Additionally, at least 5 years of senior-level experience in an international organization or multinational company is necessary, demonstrating leadership and financial resource management capabilities.
