The WHO AFRO Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Cluster supports Member States in preventing and responding to health emergencies. Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to strengthen the quality, clarity, and presentation of the WHO AFRO EPR Cluster's annual report. The incumbent will analyze and consolidate data from various technical areas, translating complex information into a clear narrative that highlights achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. This role contributes to effective decision-making, partner engagement, and strategic planning by ensuring the report is accurate, timely, and aligned with WHO reporting standards, serving as a valuable reference for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data from multiple technical areas within the Emergency Preparedness and Response Cluster. Consolidate inputs from technical teams and Program Area Managers to ensure comprehensive coverage. Draft and structure the annual report, focusing on a clear narrative that highlights key results, impact, challenges, and lessons learned. Support the coordination of reviews and integrate feedback from stakeholders. Assist with the layout, visuals, and formatting of the report to align with WHO standards. Ensure the final report is accurate, timely, and effectively communicates the Cluster's activities and outcomes.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required in report drafting, data analysis, or business intelligence. Experience with data presentation and document formatting is also essential for this role.
Skills
Strong writing and analytical skills. Experience in report drafting, data analysis, and business intelligence. Basic data presentation and document formatting skills. Proficiency in English and French.
