Organizational Context

The office manages national platforms like the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP).
Job Purpose
The Web Developer will be responsible for the hands-on coding, development, and technical support of the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP) and related systems. This role involves designing, building, testing, and deploying new features and modules, as well as troubleshooting and resolving application issues. The developer will collaborate with the IHIP team and program coordinators to translate requirements into functional applications and manage user credentials. The position requires active development work to enhance and maintain critical national health information systems.
Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain IHIP applications and modules using Java Spring Boot and Angular. Independently design, build, test, and deploy new features. Collaborate with the IHIP team to translate program requirements into functional applications. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and bugs, providing production-level support. Manage source code using version control systems and follow agile development practices. Develop and maintain APIs for integration with national digital health systems like ABHA and PMJAY. Support day-to-day system operations, including performance monitoring and user access management. Manage user credentials, including creation and access control.
Work Experience
Essential: At least 1 year of recent hands-on coding experience in developing and maintaining national-level health information systems (e.g., IHIP, HMIS). Direct experience with Java Spring Boot, Angular/AngularJS, and PostgreSQL. Candidates must demonstrate active development work. Desirable: Recent frontend development experience (dynamic forms, dashboards, charts, GIS maps), production support, full-stack development, and Android app development.
