Job Purpose
The Programme Policy Officer will play a crucial role in managing and implementing the KOICA-funded project in Tajikistan, focusing on resilience and food systems. This position involves serving as a key liaison with government ministries, agencies, and KOICA, ensuring alignment with national priorities and donor requirements. The role requires coordinating project activities, managing budgets, and overseeing financial aspects to ensure efficient expenditure and timely processing. A significant component involves coordinating the digital agriculture initiatives, including digital kiosks and mobile services, ensuring they are user-centered and sustainable. Furthermore, the incumbent will support project development, resource mobilization for future phases, and contribute to broader programme implementation and operational support, ensuring cross-cutting considerations like gender equality and inclusion are integrated.

Programme implementation and operational support, including monitoring, reporting, and coordination with various stakeholders, are also integral to the position.
Work Experience
The candidate must have at least six years of experience in international development and project management. Specific requirements include managing national-level, donor-funded international development cooperation projects, engaging with government entities, donors, and external partners, developing concept notes and funding proposals, and coordinating with cooperating partners and other development organizations.
