Job Purpose
The Human Resources Associate G6 will provide comprehensive HR support services to ensure the accurate implementation of WFP policies and procedures. This role is crucial for facilitating the effective functioning of a client-focused and strategy-oriented HR services unit. The Associate will manage a range of complex HR queries, support junior staff development, and contribute to process improvements. Key responsibilities include analyzing HR data for reporting, preparing essential HR documentation, maintaining confidential personnel records, and ensuring compliance with HR management systems and deadlines. The position also involves supporting staff onboarding and coordinating administrative actions for staff deployment, all aimed at enabling efficient HR service delivery and supporting WFP's mission.
Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive Human Resources support to ensure the effective implementation of World Food Programme (WFP) policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include addressing a wide range of complex HR queries, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. This position also entails supporting and developing junior staff, fostering their understanding of HR systems and procedures. A crucial aspect is identifying evolving organizational needs and recommending improvements to HR processes. The role requires analyzing and responding to internal and external queries to keep clients informed and align HR activities with WFP's objectives. It also involves compiling and reviewing data on recruitment, contracts, entitlements, performance, and training to support analysis and reporting. Additionally, the position supports onboarding for new staff, prepares essential HR documentation like employment contracts and separation letters, and accurately maintains HR management systems and confidential personnel records. Monitoring staff deployment and handling related administrative actions are also key duties, ensuring efficient HR services to support WFP's crisis response capabilities.
Work Experience
Requires six or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relevant business stream. This experience should include a background in Human Resources and general administrative work.
