Job Purpose
The Junior Consultant - HR Technology & Analytics will support WFP's HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI), which provides the digital backbone for HR operations. Responsibilities
The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Consultant for HR Technology and Analytics, focusing on the SAS team. This role involves providing operational payroll support and contributing to the successful implementation of the One Payroll Programme, a strategic initiative to modernize and harmonize payroll operations globally. Key responsibilities include drafting and validating business requirements for HR and payroll systems integration, performing testing for system enhancements and releases, and developing user documentation and training materials. The consultant will also provide HR systems and payroll operational support, acting as a subject matter expert on WFP HR rules and procedures, monitoring integration errors, and responding to user queries related to SAP Payroll within WFP HR systems like Workday and SAP. Additionally, the role supports payroll transformation initiatives by assisting with business analysis, requirements gathering, process design, integration testing, and change management activities. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, one to two years of relevant work experience, and knowledge of UN business processes and HR systems. Fluency in English is essential, with an intermediate knowledge of another UN official language being an asset.
Work Experience
Requires one to two years of progressive general administrative experience, with at least one year specifically in human resources within an international setting. Experience in HR systems administration and support is advantageous. Familiarity with HR Operations, SAP HR modules, and Workday is also a plus.
