Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include leading river transport operations, coordinating road convoys with a focus on security and access, and managing air transport in collaboration with partners. The officer will oversee storage facilities in Bor, adhering to WFP warehouse procedures, and represent the Logistics Cluster in state-level coordination forums. This position requires providing technical guidance on logistics procedures to partners and national staff, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and coordinating port and river operations. Work Experience
Master's degree holders require a minimum of five years of progressive experience in leading or managing Logistics Cluster operations and/or humanitarian logistics coordination within emergency and conflict settings. Bachelor's degree holders need a minimum of seven years of similar experience.
