Job Purpose
The Data Entry Clerk will provide operational and administrative support to ensure the timely, complete, and quality entry of information for young participants on the Hiring Room platform. This includes uploading resumes and verifying necessary data for job applications. The role also involves making necessary phone calls to beneficiaries to complete or update required information, contributing to a reliable and up-to-date database. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the employability team, ensuring organized and confidential handling of participant data according to established standards for managing job profiles on the platform.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to meticulously collect, organize, and review participant documentation for registration on an assigned platform. This includes uploading and archiving resumes (CVs) and supporting documents, while diligently identifying and rectifying incomplete, duplicated, or inconsistent information within the records. A key aspect involves contacting beneficiaries by phone as needed to complete, confirm, or correct required data. Maintaining the confidentiality and secure handling of beneficiaries' personal information is paramount. Additionally, the role requires the preparation of simple progress reports detailing the number of records entered and pending, upon request. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive data responsibly, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the participant database. A secondary education is required, and being a university student or graduate is preferred. Experience in data entry, document management, or database updates is beneficial, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Effective communication and a commitment to data privacy are essential.

Proficiency in basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel, Office, and general IT tools is required for electronic record management.
