Job Purpose

This includes preparing briefs, supporting donor visibility, assisting in partner mapping, and contributing to proposals and partnership documentation, ultimately enhancing WFP's operational effectiveness and external relations.
Responsibilities
The Partnerships and Reporting Associate will play a crucial role within the World Food Programme's (WFP) Partnerships, Communication, and Advocacy Unit in Tanzania. This position supports two key areas: operational information management and performance reporting, alongside partnerships and donor engagement. The associate will be responsible for preparing high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual donor and corporate reports, ensuring adherence to WFP standards and donor requirements. This includes coordinating inputs from various units for reports like the Annual Country Report (ACR), collecting and analyzing programme data for accuracy and consistency, and contributing to the development of information management tools and dashboards. Additionally, the role involves supporting the development of external communications materials, such as briefs and presentations for senior management engagement with donors and partners. The associate will assist in partner mapping, tracking funding opportunities, and contributing to partnership documentation. They will also support engagement with public, private, and multilateral partners, gather partner intelligence, and ensure the integration of cross-cutting priorities like gender and protection into reporting and partnership outputs. The position requires strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to foster collaboration and inclusivity.
Work Experience
Candidates need a minimum of three years of professional experience in partnership, programme policy, or reporting and information management roles. Essential experience includes general knowledge of information management best practices in humanitarian/development contexts, understanding government/partner priorities, supporting multi-stakeholder partnerships, identifying partnership opportunities, contributing to collaboration frameworks, data analysis using digital tools for insights and reporting, and developing external communications materials, reports, and briefs.
