It also involves gathering operational updates from WFP entities to inform partner audiences, drafting briefs, and highlighting strategic issues to senior staff to nurture partnership growth. Furthermore, the position requires gathering and presenting internal and external data to influence policy agendas and support WFP's positioning with governments and institutions. It includes developing partnerships and joint events within the UN system and multilateral fora to advocate for SDGs and Zero Hunger, contributing to partnership strategies and action plans, and drafting partner proposals and reports. The role supports senior managers in preparing strategic agreements and MOUs, contributes to preparedness actions by providing technical recommendations and monitoring risks, and may involve leading resource mobilization strategies and negotiating terms. Additionally, it entails implementing country-specific communication work plans to enhance WFP's visibility and reputation, and generating donor-specific visibility content to support fundraising activities.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in partnership roles. This includes understanding government strategies, building partner relationships, exploring new opportunities, using data visualization for discussions, preparing resource-raising briefs, and providing technical support to strengthen partnerships. Experience in fostering team spirit and an inclusive work environment is also valued.
