Job Purpose

The Storekeeper will be responsible for the efficient execution of all warehousing operations and activities under minimal supervision. This role involves ensuring the accurate reception and dispatch of goods, including transshipment, by meticulously verifying official documentation and physical counts against quality standards. The Storekeeper will manage and validate warehousing and transport documents, maintain confidential files, and generate timely reports on goods movement. Daily stock reconciliations and checks are crucial for internal control. The position requires conducting inspections, reporting on discrepancies, investigating losses, and recommending solutions to support informed decision-making. The Storekeeper will also ensure proper protection of food and non-food items, monitor warehouse conditions, and optimize storage space. Additionally, they may provide guidance and on-the-job training to other warehouse staff.

Work Experience
