Job Purpose
The Business Support Associate will provide comprehensive business support services to the Dnipro Field Office in Ukraine, ensuring effective and efficient operations. This role involves coordinating official missions, reviewing and amending correspondence, and managing travel arrangements. The Associate will also support office management with tasks such as budget monitoring, onboarding new staff, and improving business processes. Additionally, the position requires assisting in the creation of reports and data compilation, proofreading documents, managing WFP resources, and supporting event management. The incumbent will act as a focal point for administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with WFP procedures and contributing to the accurate and timely provision of information for decision-making.

The position also entails onboarding new staff, assisting with budget planning and monitoring, proofreading documents, managing WFP resources, and improving business processes. Additionally, the role supports event management, budget utilization, and RFQ processes, compiles reports for decision-making, and provides training on administrative procedures and corporate systems. The WFP Ukraine office specifically addresses the severe consequences of the war, providing food and cash assistance to affected populations.
Work Experience
Requires six or more years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in general administrative work. Post-secondary education can substitute for some years of experience. For instance, three years of experience with a Master's degree or four years with a Bachelor's degree may be considered.
