Job Purpose
The Programme Assistant will perform specialized and standardized processes and activities to support the effective delivery of assistance packages. Key responsibilities include compiling data, supporting analysis, and preparing reports on aspects like food assistance needs, resource utilization, and program status to aid operational decision-making. The assistant will ensure accurate and timely data recording, facilitate communication with internal teams and external partners (local partners, agencies, NGOs, government institutions), and act as a point of contact for operational queries. Additionally, the role requires adherence to emergency preparedness practices to ensure rapid response capabilities. This position is for a roster to express interest in future Programme Assistant roles.

Work Experience
Requires at least five years of progressively responsible experience in Monitoring and Evaluation. Must have experience analyzing program output and outcome data, along with general knowledge of WFP's monitoring and evaluation systems and standards.
