Job Purpose
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for managing the receipt and dispatch of goods to maximize warehouse operations quality and minimize losses. This role supports best practices in warehouse management in line with WFP standards and guidelines. The incumbent will be accountable to the Warehouse Management Associate or designate, participating in all phases of warehouse operations with minimal supervision. They may be required to supervise and provide on-the-job training to other warehouse staff, ensuring efficient handling, accurate record-keeping, and quality control of both food and non-food items.

Work Experience
Requires a minimum of four years of experience in similar activities. Desirable experience includes using logistics databases for reports, managing food and non-food warehouses, inventory management, and invoice processing.
