Job Purpose

The Partnerships Officer will play a crucial role in supporting WFP's Ukraine Country Office by strengthening partnerships and mobilizing resources. This position involves developing and implementing partnership strategies, cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders, and generating visibility for WFP's work in emergency response, early recovery, and social protection. The officer will coordinate with internal teams to respond to partnership inquiries, develop compelling proposals, donor reports, and investment cases to attract new funding and grow existing partnerships. Responsibilities also include gathering intelligence on donor interests and policies to inform engagement plans, and contributing to visibility strategies. The role requires providing strategic, logistical, and programmatic support to the Partnerships Team, ensuring alignment with WFP Ukraine's objectives and priorities.

The position also entails developing proposals, donor reports, and investment cases, gathering intelligence on donor interests and policies, and creating visibility plans in coordination with the Communications Team. Strategic, logistical, and programmatic support to the Partnerships Team and other WFP staff is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring awareness of WFP Ukraine's objectives.

Work Experience

Requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience within an international organization. Key areas of experience include partnerships, resource mobilization, proposal writing, and donor reporting.
