Job Purpose
The Business Support Assistant G4 provides essential operational and administrative support to the School Meals Accelerator team, ensuring the smooth delivery of business support services. This role is crucial for the efficient functioning of the team by supporting front office operations, logistics, data management, and administrative processes. The Assistant will gather information for document drafting, respond to queries, and manage routine administrative and financial tasks. They will also be responsible for maintaining standard systems and files, ensuring data integrity, and identifying basic discrepancies in statistics and data. By delivering accurate and timely support, the Business Support Assistant enables colleagues to effectively implement the Accelerator’s activities and contributes to the overall efficiency and success of the initiative in achieving its ambitious goal of reaching an additional 100 million children by 2030.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities involve providing comprehensive business support to facilitate the smooth operation of a team or function. This includes gathering and organizing information to assist in the drafting of documents and the preparation of reports by senior staff. A key aspect is responding to client queries accurately and promptly, escalating issues when necessary to ensure a high level of service. The role also entails supporting routine administrative and financial tasks, contributing to the efficient management of resources. Additionally, responsibilities extend to proofreading standard documents for accuracy, maintaining organized systems and files for easy access to information, and identifying simple data discrepancies to report to management. Ensuring data integrity within corporate systems is crucial for the availability of accurate information. Work Experience
Requires four or more years of progressively responsible work experience within the relevant business stream, including general administrative work experience.
