Job Purpose
The Tech Project Manager will own and enhance the delivery management system for the Individual Giving (IG) Tech & Product team. Responsibilities
The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Tech Project Manager for its Private Sector Partnerships division. This role is crucial for managing the delivery system of the Individual Giving (IG) Tech & Product team, ensuring efficient prioritization, planning, and execution of projects aligned with organizational goals. The project manager will own and continuously improve the team's delivery management system, establishing clear project governance, structured prioritization, and workload management. Key responsibilities include managing the intake and triage of requests, capacity planning, delivery tracking, risk management, and coordinating with external vendors. The role also involves stakeholder communication and alignment, ensuring transparency and effective collaboration between the IG Tech & Product team and internal stakeholders. Work Experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, technical project management, PMO, delivery management, or related operational coordination. Proven experience managing complex projects in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments is essential. Experience with project planning, prioritization, workload coordination, delivery tracking, cross-functional team coordination, and vendor management is necessary. Familiarity with project management tools and Agile/Scrum environments is desirable. Experience in technology, digital transformation, or international organizations is a plus.
