Job Purpose

The Programme Associate (Cash Based Transfer) will provide specialized support and technical analysis for programme activities, ensuring effective assistance delivery in line with WFP standards. This role involves coordinating the implementation of cash-based transfer (CBT) activities at the sub-office level, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key responsibilities include processing distribution reports, contributing to data collection for CBT modality decisions, and supporting beneficiary list preparation using SCOPE. The associate will monitor cross-cutting issues such as gender and protection, ensure accurate data entry into CBT and COMET databases, and participate in the review of partner proposals and distribution supervision. Capacity building of colleagues on CBT policies and standards is also a crucial aspect of this position, aiming to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Work Experience

Candidates need a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in program management, including at least 3 years in Cash-Based Transfers (CBT). Required experience also includes collaborating with technical teams (e.g., nutrition, vulnerability analysis), contributing to program implementation, and observing or facilitating discussions on planned actions.
