Job Purpose
The Programme Associate - Reporting will be instrumental in supporting WFP's Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP) in Cambodia. The associate will coordinate with various WFP units and external partners to consolidate information and meet reporting deadlines. Responsibilities
The Programme Associate – Reporting role at the World Food Programme (WFP) involves comprehensive support for the Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP) in Cambodia. Key responsibilities include drafting detailed donor reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines, and coordinating with various WFP units like Field Offices, Nutrition, Communications, and Finance to integrate programme efforts. The role also entails preparing internal reports, briefs, and communication materials, such as annual reports, country briefs, and success stories, in collaboration with the Communications Unit. Additionally, the associate will develop briefing materials for external engagements with government and other partners. Support for the HGSFP's technical assistance strategy, including tracking progress and documenting pilot processes, is crucial. This involves working with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport to update training tools and operational guidance. The position also requires administrative support, including managing Field Level Agreements, reviewing partner reports, tracking financial and output data, and assisting with procurement and logistics planning for food and non-food items. Project performance tracking, budget utilization monitoring, and analysis of implementation data are also key duties. The associate will act as a focal point for gender mainstreaming and support communication efforts for school feeding events and field visits. This role demands strong project management, reporting, and inter-agency coordination skills to contribute to WFP's mission of achieving Zero Hunger.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of six years of experience in education, social protection, or development sectors, including project management. Must be proficient with computer software, particularly Microsoft Office. Experience with school program operations, reporting, management, and monitoring/evaluation is necessary. The role also requires experience engaging with diverse national and sub-national stakeholders. Familiarity with UN rules and regulations is advantageous.
