Job Purpose
This internship within the Individual Giving Global Supporter Acquisition Team focuses on supporting the technical setup and coordination of digital fundraising assets. The role is essential for the flawless execution of digital fundraising campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Drupal. Responsibilities include setting up social media fundraising campaigns, donation pages, and ensuring internal alignment and documentation. The intern will also assist in fundraising creative production, including drafting clearance documents, reviewing content, and creating social media assets. Furthermore, the position involves supporting campaign managers with risk assessments, background research, and proofreading/translation of campaign materials. Analysis and daily optimization of live campaigns, including troubleshooting and reporting, are also key components of this role, contributing to the overall success of WFP's individual fundraising program.
Responsibilities
The Digital Fundraising Intern at the World Food Programme (WFP) will play a crucial role in executing digital fundraising campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Drupal. Responsibilities include setting up social media fundraising campaigns, ensuring creatives and metadata are accurate, and configuring donation pages with proper redirects and URL tagging. The intern will also support campaign managers by maintaining internal documentation and alignment in tools such as Asana and SharePoint. Additionally, they will assist in the creation of fundraising creatives by drafting clearance documents, reviewing raw content, and developing draft social media assets using tools like Canva. The role involves supporting risk assessments and background research for celebrity fundraising prospects, and proofreading or translating campaign materials. Furthermore, the intern will contribute to the analysis and daily optimization of live campaigns by troubleshooting setups and analyzing performance metrics using Tableau, and assisting in drafting celebrity impact reports. The internship aims to ensure flawless campaign setups, smooth clearance and launch processes, and effective support for content, celebrity fundraising, and acquisition team tasks.
Work Experience
The role requires some experience supporting a team in areas such as digital marketing, creative/media, social media, or fundraising. Familiarity with digital advertising platforms like Meta and TikTok Ads Managers, web tools such as GoDonate or Drupal, and basic image editing in Canva is also expected. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills are necessary.
