Job Purpose
The WFP Volunteer – Climate & Resilience Analytics Support will provide crucial analytical and desk-based research assistance to the Regional Resilience & Climate Team in the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe (MENAEERO). This role supports Country Offices in strengthening climate resilience, managing climate risks, and developing shock-responsive programming in crisis-affected regions. The volunteer will contribute to the preparation of non-confidential analytical outputs, internal briefing materials, and knowledge products by conducting research on climate risk, resilience approaches, and national climate strategies. Responsibilities include mapping climate and development finance instruments, synthesizing data from public sources, and assisting with basic data visualizations and presentation materials, all under close supervision and without access to sensitive information.
