Job Purpose
The Programme Associate (Monitoring) will strengthen WFP Ukraine's monitoring function by supporting effective data management, quality assurance, and structured monitoring practices. This role is crucial for ensuring harmonized monitoring systems, facilitating coordination among field and partner teams, and guaranteeing reliable data flows essential for reporting and informed decision-making. The associate will contribute to the rigorous analysis and visualization of monitoring data, assist in drafting reports, and support the oversight of partner monitoring activities. By providing technical and coordination support, the position plays a key part in assessing programme implementation and ensuring that humanitarian assistance effectively reaches those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

This involves contributing to harmonized monitoring systems, facilitating coordination among teams, and ensuring reliable data flows for reporting and decision-making. The position requires technical and coordination support for monitoring activities, data management, quality assurance, and cross-cutting RAM tasks. This includes providing technical support for sampling and tool design, maintaining data management processes, conducting data validation and quality assurance, supporting data analysis and reporting, coordinating field monitoring activities, and overseeing partner monitoring efforts. The role also involves supporting training for data collectors and collaborating with the Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) team to ensure beneficiary feedback is documented and escalated.
Work Experience
Requires six or more years of progressive work experience, including at least one year specifically in data analysis within a monitoring function. Post-secondary education can substitute for some years of experience. For example, a Master's degree may count for three years of experience, and a Bachelor's degree for four years.
