Job Purpose
The Human Resources Officer (Culture, Engagement & Performance) will provide analytical and programmatic support to WFP Haiti's HR functions. This role focuses on enhancing employee experience and organizational effectiveness by analyzing data related to culture, engagement, diversity, and performance. The incumbent will design and administer measurement instruments, translate data into actionable insights, and support the planning and delivery of programs aimed at improving employee satisfaction, motivation, and belonging. Key responsibilities include supporting employee engagement initiatives, coordinating the performance management cycle, assessing training needs, and developing HR analytics dashboards to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in people management practices.
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Officer (Culture, Engagement & Performance) role at WFP Haiti focuses on enhancing employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include supporting employee engagement initiatives, such as onboarding and recognition programs, and analyzing survey data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. The role also involves coordinating the annual performance management cycle, assisting employees and managers with goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews, and ensuring alignment between performance and engagement strategies. Additionally, the officer will conduct training needs assessments, coordinate learning and development programs, and track their outcomes. A significant part of the role involves HR analytics and reporting, where the incumbent will develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor engagement, performance, and learning outcomes, ensuring data accuracy and providing clear insights for decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and a deep understanding of diversity, culture, and engagement techniques. The goal is to leverage data and digital platforms to foster a positive and high-performing work environment within WFP Haiti, contributing to the organization's mission of saving lives and changing lives.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of one year of professional experience in human resources, organizational research, performance management, or people analytics. This experience must include generating and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data to inform HR programs and initiatives. Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools, knowledge of diversity statistics and engagement techniques, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written communication are also essential.
