Job Purpose
The Finance & Management Services Associate G6 will coordinate and deliver integrated financial, administrative, and management support services to the local office in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. The incumbent will contribute to informed decision-making through financial analysis and reporting, while strengthening internal controls and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves coordinating administrative services, monitoring resource needs, and improving operational systems and procedures. Responsibilities
The role of the Finance and Management Services Associate involves coordinating and delivering integrated financial, administrative, and management support services to a local office. Key responsibilities include providing technical support and guidance on financial and budgetary processes, ensuring compliance with policies, and assisting in budget development, implementation, and monitoring. This includes tracking expenditures, managing cash flow, processing payments accurately and promptly, and analyzing general ledger accounts. The associate will also compile and analyze financial data for periodic reporting and support the implementation of financial controls and systems to enhance compliance and accountability. Operationally, the role entails coordinating administrative and management services, monitoring resource needs, and processing transactions across various service areas like HR, procurement, and finance. Identifying and recommending process improvements, liaising with internal and external partners, and promoting the use of digital tools are also crucial. Furthermore, the associate will coordinate and mentor support staff, provide training on procedures, and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration. Ensuring compliance with internal controls, risk management practices, and organizational policies, maintaining accurate records, and supporting emergency preparedness by ensuring continuity of services are also vital aspects of this position.
Work Experience
Requires at least six years of progressively responsible experience in finance, administration, or management services.
