Job Purpose
The Partnership Management Consultant will play a crucial role in strengthening and expanding a diverse portfolio of corporate partnerships. This position focuses on ensuring excellence in relationship management to drive partner satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. The consultant will leverage strong internal liaison capabilities to collaborate effectively across teams, delivering high-quality partnership outcomes. Key responsibilities include cultivating meaningful engagement with existing corporate partners and supporting the management of strategic collaborations, such as the partnership with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This role requires a proactive approach to partnership development, proposal coordination, grant reporting, and ensuring smooth workflows for impactful project delivery.
Responsibilities
The Partnership Management Consultant will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding a diverse portfolio of corporate partnerships for the World Food Programme (WFP). This role involves ensuring high-quality relationship management to foster partner satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. A key responsibility is to act as a skilled relationship builder with strong internal liaison capabilities, collaborating effectively across various WFP teams to achieve excellent partnership outcomes. The consultant will leverage and enhance their expertise in partnership management and fundraising to cultivate meaningful engagement with existing corporate partners. Additionally, they will support the management of the strategic partnership with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, contributing to its effective coordination, delivery, and advancement. This includes producing high-quality briefs and presentations, coordinating with WFP offices globally for proposal development and grant reporting, and managing partnership timelines and documentation. The role also entails supporting partner missions, events, and visibility activities, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with WFP standards. The consultant will identify opportunities for partnership growth and facilitate internal coordination to support project implementation and reporting, ensuring alignment with WFP's mission to create a world with zero hunger.
Work Experience
The role requires 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in a partnership role, with experience in fundraising, account management, project management, and/or marketing/sales. Knowledge of the humanitarian/development sector is desirable. Essential computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CRM systems are needed. Strong analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial for managing relationships and multiple tasks effectively in a multicultural environment.
