Job Purpose
The Senior HR Associate G7 in Jordan will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering comprehensive HR support services. Responsibilities
The Senior HR Associate serves as the primary HR operational focal point within a Country Office, ensuring the consistent and accurate delivery of HR services in alignment with global policies and procedures. This role involves coordinating day-to-day HR operations across the entire employee life cycle, from talent acquisition and recruitment to performance management and HR operations. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end recruitment processes, providing guidance to hiring managers, and ensuring compliance with recruitment policies. The associate also coordinates the implementation of performance management frameworks, supports staff and managers in utilizing performance tools, and analyzes performance data. Furthermore, they oversee HR operational services such as contract administration, onboarding, and separations, while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of HR management systems. The role also entails supervising HR support staff, fostering their capacity building, and managing knowledge within the HR team. The Senior HR Associate represents the HR function in internal meetings, contributes to planning, and collaborates with other units to ensure integrated service delivery. A strong focus is placed on ensuring HR activities comply with organizational policies and audit requirements, and on identifying opportunities for process streamlining and continuous improvement in HR service delivery.
Work Experience
Requires seven years of progressive work experience, with at least six years specifically in HR. An additional year in any field is acceptable, though HR experience is preferred. The candidate should have extensive experience with WFP HR Services operating standards and practical experience in administrative and systems support across various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and policy implementation within a country office setting.
